Hello! My name is Tracey, I've been running Busy Bees Child Care since 2000 - it's is a happy and safe learning environment providing the best possible childcare in the Bridgwater area for children between the ages of 2 months and 5 years old. I have an excellent Ofsted report.

I am a friendly, caring, professional Ofsted registered childminder , with 15 years experience working with young children from the age of 2 months old up to school age. I have up to date relevant qualifications which includes Level 3 Diploma for the children and young people’s workforce – early learning and childcare pathway. This means that I am a Funded childminder in Early years childcare, so that parents can claim their free 15 hours a week childcare costs under the early years entitlement as I am an approved childminder. Which this is great news as this can help parents with their childcare costs! The child has to be between the ages of 2, 3 and 4 years old to be eligible for the early years entitlement
At Busy Bees children enjoy lots of one-to one attention, we also go out regularly to places like the local Children’s Centre for activities and making new friends. , toddler groups etc., the library for story time, Willow's Play Village and music class so there is always plenty to do.
Busy Bees organises a wide range of activities for children, aimed at enhancing their confidence and abilities in a relaxed and friendly home-from-home environment.

I am always keeping up to date with the early years changes and my training is always on going, as there is new training courses all the time for me to attend, as I am a keen childminder to learn lots which I know will help myself and the childcare setting to keep to a high standard for the children I care for.

New to Busy Bees Childcare!
I am proud of the new Children’s play room and rainbow garden, which is very safe and child friendly. The play room is very colourful with lots of fun visual learning aids to help the children learn lots whilst playing. The play room has large windows for the children to look out into the rainbow garden, with a big play house down the bottom and a rainbow coloured painted fence. The trees have butterflies and ladybirds for the children to look at and talk about. Also the children have the chance to grow their own flowers and vegetables in the garden. There is an enclosed trampoline for the children to be able to have a bounce on. There are also small bikes for the children to ride on, and other play equipment like sand /water tray, tent & tunnel, so the children have great fun in the garden playing and learning at the same time

Why choose Busy bees Childcare to send your child?
Here are a few reasons why my childcare setting is unique!
- I can offer parents flexible hours to work around parents needs, for example shift work hours can be arranged so that working parents can book their child in my childcare setting for unsociable hours.
-Affordable childcare fees so that parents can work.
-Free 15 hours a week when a child reaches a certain age, Funded hours can be claimed due to myself being an approved childminder.
- I have a large play room for the children to play and learn in , plus a lovely rainbow garden for the children to have fun and play outside on both sunny and rainy days, as we can play in the playhouse in all weathers.
- I am highly recommended from parents who have used my childcare setting and have excellent references to show on request.

I treat the children as if they were my own and once they have started Busy Bees they are like one of the family. I also encourage their development through planned activities around the EYFS and they also have the chance of free play. This helps them to achieve all their learning goals throughout their Early years and gives them the best start in life. The children have the best of both worlds as they have the chance of playing with lots of other children through attending toddler groups. Then when they are at my Busy Bees Childcare setting they also have one to one attention and learning in small numbers of up to three children at a time , which is great as they can learn more like this than in big groups of children. Another advantage is that your child will have the same key worker everyday, which is myself and I find that the children settle better and build a strong relationship with me, as this is important for them to learn and have fun. Once the children have attended Busy Bees childcare they will find it’s like their second home and look forward to attending each week to have fun and learn lots in busy bees play room and enjoy going out and about to toddler groups , trips , Music class, Library , park, and baby sing and sign.
